Frequently Asked Questions
1 Organic?
Our blueberries are not organic, however, the blueberries can be eaten right off the plant!
2 How long between the blueberries are picked and delivered?
The blueberries are picked and delivered within a maximum of 30 hours.
3 How are the berries packaged?
The blueberries are placed on a conveyor system where twigs, unripe and overripe berries are removed. From there, we package the blueberries into recyclable 5, 10 or 20 pound boxes.
4 How do I store blueberries?
Short-term: Refrigerated blueberries will last up to 10 to 14 days if kept dry. Do not wash the blueberries until consumption or baking in order to prevent wilting.
Long-term: Place them in a freezer and do not wash them before freezing. Many people freeze them on a cookie sheet first and then transfer them into a freezer container. Others simply put the whole box in the freezer. You can also wrap the box in cellophane to make it airtight, or slip it into a resealable plastic bag (squeeze out as much air as possible).
5 How much is the delivery cost?
Orders of 200 lbs and over are complementary within Vancouver, New Westminster, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, South Surrey/White Rock and Delta. Please contact us with delivery inquiries under 200 lbs.
6 Do you organize corporate/workplace orders and deliveries?
